Supply Chain Specialist - Agency Worker

Milan, Italy

As a supply chain professional, you'll oversee and manage every step of the equipment supply flow, from customer forecast or PO to the delivery of the final product. You'll ensure the right product is ordered and manufactured on time, as well as coordinate with sales team and customer to manage forecast in advance, then arrange the transportation and monitor the movement until equipment arrive the place designated by customer. You’ll manage the inventory and other factors which may impact project supply cost. Responsibilities: Your tasks will vary depending on the sector you work in.

Main Responsibilities:

• Control manufacturing and delivery processes;
• Plan and implement logistical strategy, ensuring targets are met;
• Oversee product storage, handling and distribution;
• Work on forecasts and inventories, keeping an accurate record of the process and analyzing performance;
• Manage the costs involved while maintaining quality;
• Ensure you're aware of exactly what is happening throughout the supply chain;
• Improve the overall supply chain performance and look for any possible innovations to the process;
• Consider the environmental impact of the supply chain in order to meet sustainability targets;
• Other duties as may be required or assigned.

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills and good supply chain/logistic knowledge;
• Success-oriented, flexible and a team player;
• Frequently travelling and working in dynamic and fast-pace environment;
• Bachelor´s degree in Management Engineering, Supply Chain or similar;
• Fluent speaker in Italian and English (Chinese is a plus).
