Job Title: Storage Engineer / IT Network Engineer

Job Location: Düsseldorf, Germany

Main Responsibilities:

As part of our technical service team you will provide technical IT support to our enterprise customers covering following tasks:

• Implement Huawei storage products, including SAN, NAS, Object, Backup, Cloud storage and other advanced software.
• Provide technical assistance to enterprise customers via phone, email, remote access or onsite.
• Identify and resolve technical issues onsite under the guidance of our technical engineering team.
• Provide technical trainings to enterprise customers and partners.
• Design and implement data migration projects.
• Support the planning and execution of product demonstrations and Proof of Concepts in the Pre-Sales cycle in close cooperation with the sales team.

Requirements:

• Graduate Student with Bachelor/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Sciences with focus on Telecommunication or similar ICT-related filed of studies.
• First touching points with storage architectures, including SAN, NAS and Object Good understanding of storage protocols (i.e. iSCSI, FC, NFS, CIFS, S3) and its functions.
• Ideally be familiar with of common OS, i.e. VMware, Windows and Linux as well as backup software like, Commvault and Veeam.
• Willingness to troubleshooting complex IT solutions.
• Ability to work in an international business environment.
• Good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in German and fluent in English.
