Job Title: Environment, Health and Safety Manager - Graduate Program
Job Location: Düsseldorf, Germany
Main Responsibilities:
- Organize, coordinate, and monitor the Environment Health and Safety (EHS).
- Active contribution to an environment protection plan focusing on all aspects of the lifecycle of electrical systems (WEEE directive, REACH regulation, Battery acts, Control system EAR).
- Communicate within the Huawei organization and with customers, subcontractors, and project teams on all aspects of the environmental/occupational health and safety management system in a timely manner.
- Organize the regular reporting to the project managers about the operation status and improvement requirements of the EHS management system.
- Conduct supplier EHS management system audits as well as EHS onsite assessments.
- Willingness to acquire the official certificate for safety experts under DGUV regulation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on Environmental or Occupational Safety.
- First touching points with EHS requirements and legal compliance of Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Willingness and ability to coach, support and train managers and subcontractors with regards to EHS management awareness, legal compliance and best practice.
- Ability to develop and effectively deliver EHS trainings.
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasks.
- Fluency in both German and English mandatory.
