Main Responsibilities:
As the Regional IT Infrastructure & Workplace Expert, you will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure and workplace solutions. You will work closely with global IT teams to ensure the regional infrastructure aligns with corporate strategies while being optimized for local Huawei internal business needs. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Infrastructure Strategy & Planning: Collaborate with global IT teams to define and implement regional IT infrastructure strategies that support business growth, scalability, and innovation.
- Implementation & Optimization: Lead the deployment and optimization of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud environments, and data centers.
- Project Management: Manage regional IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet business requirements.
- Operation & Maintenance: Oversee day-to-day operations of IT systems in the region, ensuring minimal downtime, and proactively address potential issues.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all regional IT systems are compliant with local regulations and corporate security policies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with local and global IT teams, business units, and vendors to address infrastructure needs, troubleshooting, and continuous improvements.
- Budget Management: Support regional budget planning for IT infrastructure, including resource allocation, cost optimization, and expense tracking.
- Training & Development: Provide training and mentoring to local IT teams to build technical capabilities and ensure ongoing improvement.
- Reporting & Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation for all regional infrastructure projects, configurations, and system updates.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on regional/global operations.
- Proven experience in deploying and managing enterprise-level IT infrastructure in a multi-site environment.
- Hands-on experience with cloud solutions, data center management, and network infrastructure.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams, projects, and budgets.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure systems, network architecture, security protocols, and disaster recovery planning.
- Expertise in system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Relevant certifications such as Huawei, Cisco, AWS, VMware, or Microsoft are highly desirable.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Strong communication skills, capable of liaising with business leaders and technical teams alike.
- Ability to drive change, innovate, and adapt to evolving business needs.
- Fluency in both Chinese and English (spoken and written) is a must.
- Ability to communicate effectively with teams and stakeholders in both languages across multiple regions.
- Knowledge of local data protection law and regulations.
