Job Title: Legal Counsel
Job Location: Mommenheim, France

Main Responsibilities:

• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, such as; construction related contracts, procurement contracts, NDAs, etc.
• Provide strong support for compliance related topics, such as; HR, EHS, GDPR, financing, corporate governance, product admission, cyber security, etc.
• Follow up the construction project, provide necessary legal support and lead the legal co-operation with the external law firm
• Deal with daily corporate legal management of the entity
• Trace French and European regulatory changes and provide training to our business units in legal topics
• Gain insight and understand various law and regulations in France, provide necessary suggestions to the management team, assist the management team in developing legal and compliant policies
• Provide professional and effective legal services for business teams, assist management team in establishing prevention mechanisms for various scenarios in compliance with local law and regulations, identify and resolve issues in advance

Requirements:

• Strong background as a Legal Counsel or as a lawyer, especially within employment law
• Lawyer qualification in France is preferred
• Excellent drafting, analytical and negotiation skills
• Strong commercial sense and flexible hands-on approach
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English (legal English) and French (legal French)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with positive attitude 
• Keen to be challenged in a fast-paced, commercial environment with multinational staff
