Job Title: Service Engineer - Solar Energy

Job Location: Prague, Czechia

Main Responsibilities:

Engineering support

• Supervising project engineering process, including kick-off meeting, hardware and software supervision, acceptance test
• Onsite support for site survey, installation or commissioning when necessary
• Commissioning, improvement of the troubleshooting, intervention on site when necessary Interface with engineering partner to locate technical problems that may arise during the engineering process

Maintenance support

• Responsible for technical support service to customer or partner independently or jointly with a technical support team
• Onsite support in case of major or critical problems that can’t be solved by customer or local subcontractor according to SLA
• Responsible for handling technical cases on ticket system
• Monitor the quality of on-site operation, updating
• Quality analysis and improvement processes

Identification of Safety Issues and Stressors Associated with This Role:

• Working with live three-phase electricity which may up to 35kV AC voltage, and 1500V DC voltage
• Manual handling
• Driving long distances
• Working outside in bad weather conditions

Requirements:

• Ideally bachelor's degree in electrical discipline or education as electrician or equivalent
• Familiar with the electrical knowledge and power system
• Be used to work with DC and AC current, hold the operation license with high voltage
• Multi-skilled in both the theoretical and practical aspects of electrical work
• Good understanding of PV plant structures, roof top structures
• Experience of reading and understanding electrical schematic diagrams and specifications with the ability to pick out and interpret relevant information
• Capacity to work with solar and MV system and transformer station
• Speaking Languages: English and Czech
• Driving License
