Legal Counsel, Commercial & Labour Law (f/m/d)

Job Location: 

Düsseldorf, Germany

We are seeking a team player with a commercial mindset and excellent interpersonal skills to join our dynamic organization. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about collaborating in a global environment and excel at working with diverse cultures. Main Responsibilities:

• Support the HR Department and management on individual labor law matters.
• Draft official documents and policies for the company and its business units.
• Oversee and eventually lead compliance management, ensuring adherence to law.
• Handle complex legal issues across various business areas, esp. procurement.
• Provide comprehensive legal support and consultancy to other departments.
• Manage claims and disputes, while proactively overseeing the quality and cost of external legal counsel.

Requirements:

• Qualified German lawyer with two state exams and first experience in a law firm or legal department, with an affinity on labor law, data protection, and compliance in Germany.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in both German and English, for both written and oral negotiations
• Experience or interest in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
