Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Program Manager to lead and drive the success of our Data Center (DC) projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong reputation within the data center industry, built through years of delivering successful, high-profile projects with both clients and partners. This role requires the ability to manage complex projects across their lifecycle—while ensuring alignment with customer goals—and to foster lasting relationships with key stakeholders. The Senior Program Manager will also be expected to use her/his industry reputation to build credibility and trust with clients, partners, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Leadership & Strategy:
- Lead and manage end-to-end DC projects from initiation to completion, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
- Develop and execute program strategies in alignment with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to align project goals and manage stakeholder expectations across multiple teams.
Project Planning & Execution:
- Define program goals, objectives, deliverables, and performance metrics for multiple concurrent DC projects.
- Lead the development of detailed project plans, resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.
- Manage project teams across various functions (e.g., Engineering, Construction, IT, Facilities) to ensure on-time delivery.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key customers, building and maintaining strong, positive relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Understand customer requirements, preferences, and business needs to ensure that project outcomes align with their expectations.
- Proactively communicate project status, risks, and milestones to customers, ensuring transparency and managing expectations.
- Collaborate closely with sales and business solution teams to ensure customer satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Work with customers to resolve any escalated issues or challenges, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
Industry Reputation & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Leverage an industry reputation of trust and credibility to effectively engage with both clients and partners.
- Build strong relationships with key industry players and stakeholders, including vendors, consultants, and contractors, to ensure the success of projects.
- Position yourself as a thought leader in the data center space, participating in industry forums, events, and discussions to keep up with trends and best practices.
- Use industry relationships to influence project success, manage external expectations, and drive best-in-class performance
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, procurement, supply chain) and external vendors (construction contractors, third-party consultants) to drive successful project execution.
- Engage with key stakeholders regularly to provide updates on progress, risks, and changes in scope.
- Ensure clear communication and alignment between technical and non-technical teams.
Risk Management & Issue Resolution:
- Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate program risks and roadblocks.
- Lead efforts to resolve project issues quickly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines or budgets.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Oversee project budgets and ensure that all costs are managed within established parameters.
- Track and report on financial performance, including forecasting and variance analysis.
- Manage resource allocation and workforce planning to meet program milestones.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
- Continuously monitor project performance, KPIs, and overall program health.
- Provide regular updates and reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Document and share lessons learned to improve future projects.

Technology Awareness & Innovation
Basic requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a relevant field.
- 10+ years of experience in program/project management with data center projects.
- PMP or relevant certifications preferred. Certifications in Data Center (e.g., Certified Data Center Professional – CDCP, Certified Data Center Expert – CDCE) are a plus
- In-depth technical knowledge of data center operations and industry standards.
