Job Title: Business Support Management Director (m/f/d)
Job Location: Strasbourg, France
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the business support departments such as: Administration incl. Campus and IFM management, operation, compliance & Legal and EHS
- Define the “short to long term strategy” for the platform activities;
- Ensure a cost-efficient organizational setup;
- Overview the support requirements for the core business;
- Cooperate with the manufacturing department;
- Understand the business and adapt the platform service accordingly;
- Identify and cooperate with suppliers;
- Guarantee the compliance with the European and local laws;
- Build up the relationship to relevant authority departments and ensure a smooth
cooperation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master degree in science or engineering;
- Highly experienced in the manufacturing industry, familiar with the on-site management technology;
- Medium to long term industrial business experiences in different segments and management functions;
- Should be a generalist highly skilled in entrepreneurship thinking:
- Good understanding of legal boundaries in Europe/France;
- Being familiar with the aspects of project management;
- Experienced in interacting with suppliers and focus on costs.
- Ability to communicate with internal departments / employees as well as with customers and suppliers to reach the targets;
- Strong support-oriented mindset;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and French, Chinese would be a plus.
