Job Title: FTTX Design Engineer
Job Location: Bucharest, Romania
This position belongs to our Delivery & Service Department, Huawei Romania Office with work location in Bucharest, Globalworth Building, Aurel Vlaicu area.
This position has a full-time office based schedule.
Fibre to the x (FTTx) is a generic term for any broadband network architecture that uses optical fiber to replace all or part of the usual metal local loop used for last mile telecommunications.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide design support for FTTX access project.
- Designing telecommunication last mile B2B subscriber connection to the carrier network (using customer’s software: NICM, Pegasus, CovExpert).
- Support field technicians during migration from copper cable to FO
Requirements:
- 1-2 years work experience is preferred; this is open to recent fresh graduates.
- Bachelor degree in telecommunication engineering, Information Technology or related field.
- Good communication and presentation skill in English.
- Positive attitude and able to work under challenging assignments.
