The SQA is a pivotal role within the Renewable industry, tasked with ensuring that products and services meet all quality standards while adhering to safety protocols. This role is critical in minimizing the risk of product issues, maintaining company reputation, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The SQA is responsible for the development, implementation, and continual improvement of the quality and safety management systems, making it essential for organizations aiming to uphold high standards of excellence and safety in their operations.
This position belongs to our Digital Power department, Huawei Romania Office with work location in Bucharest, Globalworth Building, Aurel Vlaicu area.
This position has a full-time office based schedule.
Job Title: Safety and Quality Assurance Manager
Job Location: Bucharest, Romania
Main Responsibilities:
- Establishing quality and safety metrics for product and service excellence.
- Leading the development and implementation of safety and quality management plan
- Conducting rigorous safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Facilitating training sessions for employees on quality improvement and safety practices.
- Monitoring ongoing performance and quality control systems to ensure products and services meet customers’ expectations and regulatory standards.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Preparing detailed reports on quality and safety issues, investigations based on the data collected.
- Frequent on sites visits (business trips) for project HSE (Heath, Safety, Environment) supervision is required.
Tasks and Duties:
- Reviewing current policies and making recommendations for improvements.
- Documenting internal audits and other quality assurance activities.
- Analysing data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
- Developing, recommending, and monitoring corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with national and international standards and legislation.
- Supporting customers with Fire Emergency drills to improve customer’s safety awareness and capabilities
- Organize routine quality and safety meetings with key department employees
- Promote quality and safety knowledges and awareness to all relevant employees
- To organize quality and safety workshop to showcase best practices and to promote quality and safety culture within the organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineer, Electric technology, Information Technologies, Automatic Control Engineering
- Experience in safety and quality assurance
- Business travelling and onsite service will be required
- Strong communication skills, willing to communicate with clients
- Good command of English
