About the Role
We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Director of Regional Data Center Business Development to drive strategic sales and growth initiatives across Europe. This is a purely sales-focused leadership role, responsible for developing, managing, and expanding relationships with key colocation service providers, general contractors, and consulting firms within the data center industry. The role reports directly to the executive leadership team and plays a critical part in expanding the company’s footprint in the European market.

Main Responsibilities:
• Strategic Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers at colocation providers, general contractors, and consulting firms, identifying and pursuing high-value opportunities.
• Market Expansion: Develop and execute a regional sales strategy for Europe, targeting core enterprise and hyperscale clients, maximizing market penetration and revenue growth.
• Opportunity Development: Identify and qualify large-scale business opportunities, leveraging deep industry knowledge and networks to drive strategic wins.
• Sales Leadership: Lead cross-functional collaboration with marketing, solution engineering, and operations teams to ensure successful client engagement and execution of sales plans.
• Revenue Growth & Forecasting: Drive sales pipeline development, accurately forecast revenue, and achieve or exceed ambitious regional sales targets.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to advise on strategic positioning and inform business development plans.
Requirements Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven Industry Experience: Minimum 5 years in data center sales or business development, preferably with colocation providers, hyperscale operators, or consulting firms.
• Executive-Level Networking: Strong relationships and familiarity with senior decision-makers in colocation service providers, general contractors, and consulting firms within the data center sector.
• Track Record of Success: Demonstrable experience in closing large-scale, high-value deals and delivering measurable revenue growth.
• Strategic Sales Expertise: Strong ability to develop and execute regional sales strategies, identify opportunities, and lead complex negotiations.
• Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of the European data center market, industry dynamics, and client business drivers.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written English, with strong presentation and negotiation skills suitable for executive-level interactions.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel within Europe to meet key clients and attend industry events.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working across multiple European markets (Netherlands, Germany, France, UK, Nordics, etc.).
• Familiarity with enterprise-scale colocation projects, hyperscale deployments, and consulting-led decision-making processes.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and work with technical solution architects to tailor offerings to client needs.
