WDM Senior Engineer
Huawei is looking for a WDM Senior Engineer to join our Network Technology Department and manage the integration group that carries out daily activities on the live WDM network.

WDM Senior Engineer

Main Responsibilities:
As WDM Senior Engineer, you will be in charge of managing the entire technical project of one of the most important Italian providers:
Management of the entire integration group that carries out daily activities on the live WDM network (BACKBONE, AGGREATION and ACCESS layers);
Study and economic quotation of services based on the specific requests of the client;
HLD and LLD design solutions based on existing WDM network architecture;
Study and implementation of innovative solutions requested by the customer on the entire existing network architecture;
Support integration group on troubleshooting during traffic-affecting activities;
Responsible for the economic targets related to the project.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, such as Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science or similar;
At least 2 years of experience working in WDM/optical field;
Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills, with a proven ability to solve problems, make decisions, and manage tasks effectively;
Adaptability to work in an international business environment, demonstrating excellent collaboration skills and cultural awareness;
Language Requirements: Good command of spoken English and fluent in Italian.
