About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Director of Regional Data Center Business Development to lead strategic sales and growth initiatives across Europe.
This is a senior, sales-focused leadership role responsible for developing, managing, and expanding relationships with key colocation service providers, general contractors, and consulting firms within the data center industry.
The position reports directly to the executive leadership team and plays a critical role in strengthening the company’s presence and market share across Europe.
Main Responsibilities:
Strategic Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers at colocation providers, general contractors, and consulting firms; identify and develop high-value business opportunities.
Market Expansion: Develop and implement a regional sales strategy across Europe, targeting enterprise and hyperscale clients to maximize market penetration and revenue growth.
Opportunity Development: Identify, qualify, and pursue large-scale opportunities, leveraging industry expertise and professional networks to secure strategic projects.
Sales Leadership: Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, solution engineering, and operations teams to ensure effective client engagement and successful execution of sales strategies.
Revenue Growth & Forecasting: Drive pipeline development, maintain accurate sales forecasts, and achieve or exceed regional revenue targets.
Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies to inform strategic positioning and business development planning.
Requirements:
Relevant Industry Experience: Experience in data center sales or business development, ideally with colocation providers, hyperscale operators, or consulting firms.
Executive-Level Engagement: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across the data center ecosystem.
Proven Track Record: Experience in closing complex, high-value deals and delivering measurable business growth.
Strategic Sales Capability: Strong ability to develop and execute regional sales strategies, identify opportunities, and lead complex negotiations.
Commercial Awareness: Solid understanding of the European data center market, industry dynamics, and customer needs.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to present and negotiate effectively at executive level.
Mobility: Willingness to travel within Europe as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working across multiple European markets.
Familiarity with enterprise-scale colocation projects, hyperscale deployments, and consulting-led procurement processes.
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical solution experts, to develop tailored client solutions.
