Position Overview
We are seeking a high-performing Senior Business Development Manager to drive expansion across the European data center market. The role is responsible for new business acquisition and revenue growth within the FLAPD (Frankfurt, London, Amsterdam, Paris, Dublin) and Nordic regions.
This is a hunter-oriented, results-driven role focused on identifying large-scale opportunities, developing a strong colocation pipeline, and closing complex, multi-megawatt deals. The role requires strong commercial ownership and the ability to operate in a highly competitive market environment.
Main Responsibilities:
Market Development & Sales Execution: Identify, pursue, and convert new business opportunities across FLAPD and Nordic markets. Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract closure.
Customer Acquisition: Develop relationships with global and regional colocation and infrastructure providers requiring wholesale capacity, high-density power, or expansion sites. Engage with cloud and AI-driven customers requiring GPU-optimized infrastructure solutions.
Strategic Account Engagement: Build and maintain senior-level relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across the data center ecosystem, including C-level executives.
Revenue Responsibility: Own assigned sales targets and KPIs, ensuring consistent revenue growth and delivery against annual objectives.
Solution Development: Collaborate with technical, product, and operations teams to design tailored colocation and connectivity solutions aligned with customer requirements.
Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitive dynamics, regulatory developments, and energy/land availability to support strategic positioning and decision-making
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Professional Experience: Extensive experience in business development or sales roles within the data center, colocation, hyperscale, or digital infrastructure sectors.
Market Expertise: Strong knowledge of the FLAPD markets. Experience or established relationships in the Nordic region is highly preferred.
Network: Proven ability to engage with and influence key stakeholders within wholesale and retail colocation or hyperscale customers.
Track Record: Demonstrated success in acquiring new business and closing large-scale, multi-million-euro or equivalent contracts.
Communication Skills: Excellent English communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Other European languages are a plus.
Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently across Europe (approximately up to 50%)
