Job Title: Field Force & Installer Account Manager (m/f/d) - Smart PV Residential
Job Location: Munich or Dusseldorf, Other location can be discussed
Main Responsibilities:
1. Outsourced Field Force Management (60%)
• Team Governance & KPIs: Drive, monitor, and manage the performance of 20-30 outsourced Field Force (Außendienst) agents. Ensure they meet daily/weekly/monthly targets regarding installer visits, training execution, and partner registrations.
• Operational Enablement: Coordinate with internal platforms (Fulfillment, Supply Chain, Product Management) to ensure the outsourced team is equipped with the latest product knowledge, marketing newsletters, and partner program updates.
• Process Alignment & Escalation: Serve as the primary internal interface for the outsourced team, resolving escalated technical or commercial issues raised by local installers.
• Rigorous Reporting: Consolidate daily, weekly, and monthly field reports into structured, data-driven insights for the Channel and Department Directors.
2. Key Installer Account Management & Market Validation (40%)
• Direct KA Acquisition: Personally identify, approach, and build strategic relationships with top-tier, regional/national residential installers (Key Accounts).
• “Ground Truth” Validation: Utilize your direct sales engagements with Key Installers as a reality check to audit and evaluate what the outsourced Field Force is delivering on the ground.
• Voice of Customer (VoC): Translate direct installer feedback and market trends into actionable product, marketing, and channel strategies for Residential Dept.
• Conflict Management: Resolve potential channel conflicts between direct installer relationships and distributor networks.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: At least 3-5 years of experience in Sales, Channel Management, or Field Force Operations within the Solar/PV/Energy Storage industry is mandatory. Proven experience in managing outsourced teams, agency partners, or direct sales forces is highly preferred.
• Technical Skills:High affinity for Smart PV solutions, residential inverters, and battery storage systems (BESS).Ability to understand technical specifications and installer requirements to provide credible pre-sales support.
• Competencies: Strong KPI & Governance Mindset: Excellent capability in driving results through external partners and enforcing reporting discipline. Exceptional Communication & Negotiation: Confident in executive engagements with large installer CEOs/Owners, as well as motivating external field agents. Highly organized, structured, and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
• Languages: Fluency in German and English is a must.
• Mobility: Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Germany.
