Job Title: Solar BESS Solution Manager
Job Location: Munich or Nuremberg (can be discussed)
Main Responsibilities:
• Evaluating and developing battery energy storage solutions in various scenarios (mainly on utility scale BESS project), and regularly make market insights and analyze the application scenarios and business models of energy storage technologies.
• Deeply participating in the solution design of utility scale battery energy storage projects, establish communication with customers' technical executives to guide technical advantages, and support successful project development and market expansion.
• Participating in activities such as industry exhibitions and technical communications, grasp the industry development trend, and demonstrate Huawei's professional image.
• Understanding the mainstream battery energy storage technical solutions, understanding customer pain points, and guiding future product design.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or above, in electrical automation, renewable energy or other related fields.
• Minium 5 years working experience in at least one of the following:
- the PV inverter or BESS manufacturer.
- solar/ inverter/ BESS/ power electronics test lab.
- standard development or certification organization.
- renewable energy engineering consultancy firm.
- utility solar PV power plant EPC/developer company.
- policy making entity/ regulator/ authority related to solar energy. Ability to work
• Strong communication skills, proactive, and able to effectively engage with clients; highly motivated, goal-oriented, and a team player, with the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
• Excellent presentation and negotiation skills, including good listening, probing, and qualification abilities.
• Fluency in German and English is a must.
• Eligible to work within the EU
