Job Title: Tax Accounting Manager
Job Location: Ljubljana, Slovenia
Main Responsibilities:
• Plan and prepare the tax solutions for business models to minimize the tax risk exposure
• Prepare and file monthly and annual tax returns, including direct tax and indirect tax
• Keep track of the updates of tax regulations
• Support monthly closing with Accounting Sharing Center in Romania (e.g. accruals, bookings checking, etc)
• Prepare statutory report for annual audit
• Act as a main contact point with the relevant tax authorities and auditor for audits and tax compliance investigation
• Assist CFO with new project implementation
Requirements:
• University degree in economy , accounting or tax, preferably qualified accountant or tax adviser (e.g. ACCA).
• Strong knowledge of the Slovenian tax legislation
• Familiar with IFRS and local GAAP.
• Fluent in English & Slovenian
• Experience gained in taxation and audit within an international environment (at least 3 years’ of work experience of big 4).
• Strong communication skills and open minded.
• Strong capability of team work
• Strong ability to learn, self-management skills, the ability to work independently, results driven.
• Advanced User with Microsoft Office applications.
