Contract Manager
Rome, Italy
Main Responsibilities:
Prepare commercial proposals, bidding SOC (Statement of Compliance), contracts, cover letters and other contract related documentation as required along with analytical resources from the relevant business units.
Design appropriate business model in term of contract to suit specific business requirement of each bid/contract and prevent/reduce Huawei’s business risk exposures.
Participate in and lead contract negotiation of overseas telecommunication projects (especially of large-scare telecommunication Turnkey projects and Managed/Maintenance Service projects is a plus), lead the negotiation team to reach the negotiation target as the chief negotiator;
Formulate negotiation strategies and ensure successful implementation of the strategies;
Act as the general representative of the negotiation team to communicate with the clients;
Draft contracts and take part in the overall review of contracts to support the decision-making process in contracting stages; Familiar with various of standard contract template of telecommunication and construction industries (Like FIDICs…);
Make contribution to the improvement of overall corporate negotiation capability by delivering training on negotiation, negotiation experience sharing, etc.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree or above, with professional qualifications and experience in international trade and financing, international business law, project management and/or other relevant specialties;
Around 5-10 years’ work experience as contract manager, preferably in energy business, with an expert-level understanding of contract terms & conditions;
Strong analytical skill with high level of communication and collaboration capabilities plus team spirit;
Fluent in Italian and English.

Employment will be under the Italian CCNL Telecommunications collective agreement, up to area C4. The compensation package can be up to €60,000 gross per year, plus a performance-based bonus up to 2 additional monthly salary.
