Job Title: Senior Legal Counsel
Job Location: Huawei Rep Office, Dublin, Ireland
Main Responsibilities:
Provide pragmatic and solution-driven legal advice and support to Huawei Ireland business teams on operational, regulatory, and corporate matters.
Support business teams by understanding their activities and providing tailored legal guidance, including employment law support to HR when required.
Assist with the review and preparation of legal documents, agreements, policies, and communications, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
Monitor Irish and EU legal developments, assess their impact on business operations, and support legal risk management, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Support data protection matters, corporate governance activities, and coordination with external legal advisors when required.
Collaborate with Huawei European legal teams and the Huawei Research Centre legal/HR teams to support business projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field.
Qualified as a Solicitor or Barrister in Ireland
5+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in an international company or technology-related industry.
Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, compliance, and Irish/EU legal frameworks.
Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to collaborate in a multicultural environment, but with a demonstrated ability to work independently as well.
