About the Role & Program
Kickstart your career with Huawei Italy’s Graduate Program. This 6-month internship is designed for high-potential candidates to master infrastructure operations and technical project delivery. Sitting at the intersection of field operations and project management, you will coordinate multi-site maintenance programs, drive infrastructure project timelines (Power Systems, HVAC, Energy Optimization), and ensure top-tier service delivery with a direct path to full-time employment upon successful completion.
Main Responsibilities
Maintenance Operations Coordination: Oversee the execution of preventive and corrective maintenance schedules across critical site infrastructure (HVAC, UPS, 48V DC power systems, fire suppression, and generators) to maximize uptime.
Project Tracking & Execution: Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking infrastructure upgrade and maintenance projects, ensuring deliverables meet cost, time, and quality targets.
SLA & Incident Management: Serve as the coordination point during technical incidents. Monitor real-time plant metrics, coordinate rapid-response troubleshooting with field teams, and ensure strict SLA adherence.
Subcontractor & Vendor Alignment: Manage external vendor schedules, supervise on-site maintenance quality, ensure compliance with safety/design specs, and lead incident tracking to closure.
Reporting & Process Optimization: Track project milestones and maintenance KPIs, leading root-cause analysis (RCA) and reporting findings to cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous process improvement.
Requirements:
Fresh Graduate or Current Student enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, such as Management Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline. The graduation date should ideally be approximately 6-12 months before or after the internship start date.
PM & Operations Focus: Strong organization skills with a passion for project lifecycle tracking, resource coordination, and operational workflow optimization.
Technical Baseline: Solid understanding of site power/cooling mechanics and proficiency in technical documentation and tracking tools (e.g., MS Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project).
Soft Skills: High emotional intelligence, proactive problem-solving, and clear communication in dynamic, cross-cultural environments.
Languages: Fluency in Italian (written and spoken) and professional working proficiency in English.
Work Authorization: Must hold valid authorization to live and work in Italy.
