As part of its continued expansion in Romania, Huawei is currently hiring a Business Development Manager to strengthen its Digital Power business.
Job Title: Business Development Manager
Job Location: Bucharest, Romania
Main Responsibilities:
As a Business Development Manager, you will drive business growth and market expansion in the solar and energy storage sector:
• Define and implement strategic sales directions aligned with customer needs and Huawei’s objectives
• Oversee sales operations, project delivery, and customer relationship development across Romania
• Drive brand positioning and strengthen Huawei’s presence in the solar and energy storage market
• Initiate and manage partnerships with solar inverter manufacturers, developers, and EPC contractors
• Identify and secure strategic solar and BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) projects
• Ensure successful project execution, customer satisfaction, and long-term partnerships
• Expand the customer portfolio and increase market share
• Lead project teams and foster continuous improvement and performance excellence
Requirements:
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Renewable Energy, or Business Administration
• Solid experience in sales within the solar power sector (solar inverters, BESS, or related solutions)
• Proven track record in securing large-scale projects and managing key client relationships
Skills & Competencies
• Strong commercial mindset with excellent negotiation skills
• Solid technical understanding of renewable energy solutions
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Leadership experience and ability to manage teams and projects
• Results-driven, dynamic, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment
Languages & Mobility
• Fluent in English and Romanian
• Willingness to travel frequently for business
