Job Title: Legal Counsel (m/f/d)
Job Location: Düsseldorf, Germany
Main Responsibilities:
Advise on legislative frameworks and the commercial impact of legislative changes in the telecommunications and ICT industry.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of operational and commercial agreements in the ICT/Telco sector, including finance-related agreements.
Draft official documents, policies, and awareness materials.
Ensure business compliance with external regulations and internal policies.
Provide legal assessments and opinions during the Company's daily operational activities.
Work closely with different legal and business stakeholders across Europe.
Support legal and compliance-related matters for Huawei in Europe.
Requirements:
Completion of the First and Second German State Examinations (Erstes & Zweites Staatsexamen) or equivalent qualification.
Admission as a Rechtsanwalt/Rechtsanwältin or equivalent qualification within the EU.
Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience in a law firm or in-house environment.
Strong knowledge of contract law, ICT law, corporate law, employment law, and immigration law.
Basic knowledge of EU law relating to data protection, cybersecurity, and competition law.
Strong business acumen and a team-oriented mindset.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Clear communication and negotiation abilities.
Business-oriented mindset with practical legal judgment.
Fluent English required; German preferred.
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under pressure.
Willingness to travel for business approximately once per month.
