Job Title: Procurement Manager
Job Location: Zagreb, Croatia
Main Responsibilities:

– Sourcing and qualifying potential suppliers, setting up supplier resource pool.
– Organizing the bidding activities including RFQ preparation, offers evaluation, etc.
– Negotiating and signing contract with suppliers to maximize company’s benefit.
– Manage suppliers’ performance in order to fulfil the business needs.
– Collecting cost information in the market and building cost benchmark.
– Analyzing procurement requirement and market trends, achieve cost control target.
– Risk evaluation, develop and implement risk prevention policy/action plan, insure the continuity of service from supplier.
– Organizing regular communications with suppliers, establishing good business relationships
– Collecting information and continuously analyzing the industry, market, customer, explore potential alternative solutions and thereby ensuring the effectiveness of the procurement strategy/Plan.
Business Skills:
- Familiar with Telecom engineering service procurement market trend in Croatia & Slovenia, susceptibility to market changes.
- Ability and experience in risk evaluation, development and implementation of risk prevention policy/action plan
- Ability and experience in managing suppliers’ performance in order to fulfill the business needs
- Good analytical skills, problem solving skills, negotiation skills and Good focus on details.
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Engineering delivery experience or related is preferred
Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in electrical / electronic engineering or business administration or economics.
• 3-5 years’ experience in the related field
• Openness & initiative, honesty and integrity, executive capability, attention to details, sense of responsibility, logic thinking;
• Good interpersonal communication skills and high ability to work in multicultural and multinational teams
• Team player, self-motivated, result-oriented and highly independent
• Strong ability to learn, self-management skills, the ability to work independently, results driven.
• Fluent Croatian & English are mandatory.
